Mass protests in France: What does the slogan "Bismillah, c'est les ténèbres" symbolize?
During the large-scale protests that erupted in France, the phrase "Bismillah, c'est les ténèbres," frequently chanted by demonstrators, has become a main symbol of the tension in the country. This slogan, which spread rapidly on social media, is assessed as an indicator of deep discontent and chaos in society.

Due to the ongoing unrest in many cities across the country, authorities have resorted to emergency security measures. Although a partial curfew has been imposed in some residential areas, it has still not been possible to prevent clashes on the streets.
The wave of protests has not been limited to France alone; it has also spilled over into other European countries. Citizens are observed joining protest actions in a total of seven countries, and the situation is reported to be getting out of hand in some regions.
The looting of luxury stores during the riots and hundreds of thousands of euros worth of property damage have dealt a heavy blow to the French economy and trade sector. Law enforcement agencies are operating on an enhanced duty schedule to restore public order.
The tension has also affected sporting events. Ahead of the scheduled Galatasaray match in the city of Lille, a street curfew was imposed as part of security measures. Although officials have made calls for dialogue to stabilize the situation, tension on the streets remains at a high level.
