Dangerous weather warning in Turkey: Flood and storm alert declared in 45 provinces

The situation regarding adverse weather conditions in Turkey is becoming increasingly serious. According to the latest data from the General Directorate of Meteorology and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, there is a risk of heavy rain and storms in 45 provinces of the country. Experts have urged the population to be extremely cautious against expected natural disasters.

Based on the weather forecast map presented by Minister Murat Kurum, an "orange code" warning, indicating high risk, has been issued for 10 provinces, and a "yellow code" warning for 26 provinces. Rainfall is expected to increase in intensity and pose a flood hazard in many major cities, especially Istanbul.

Official agencies have warned citizens living near rivers, in low-lying areas, and in regions prone to flooding to exercise caution. Emergency services have been put on full alert in those regions, and necessary measures are being taken to prevent potential damage.

Stating that the rainfall will intensify further in the coming hours, meteorologists have invited drivers and pedestrians to be cautious. The public is advised to closely monitor warnings from official agencies and avoid leaving home unless necessary.
