Minister Göktaş Sharply Criticized Israel at the UN and Left the Hall

Minister Göktaş Strongly Condemned Israel - Minister Göktaş at the UN, Israel harshly - Turkey's Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, left the hall as a sign of protest against Israel's actions at a meeting organized by the United Nations (UN) in New York. This action once again demonstrated Turkey's international support for Palestine and its resolute stance against Israel's policies.

Minister Göktaş, while participating in the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, declared that she would not remain silent against Israel's actions that violate international law and are contrary to humanity. Her courageous protest served to once again draw the international community's attention to this sensitive issue, especially regarding the tragic situation in Gaza.

Minister Göktaş's departure from the hall during the Israeli representative's speech at the meeting was a clear example of Turkey's firm and open stance against Israel's policies. This step created a significant echo in diplomatic circles, further strengthening Turkey's principled position.

Within the scope of her New York visit, Minister Göktaş held a series of bilateral meetings in addition to the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. During these meetings, cooperation opportunities in the fields of women's rights, family policy, and social services were discussed in detail.

Additionally, with the support of the ministry, an exhibition of products by Turkish entrepreneurial women was organized in New York. This exhibition, realized in cooperation with "Hepsiburada", aimed to introduce the labor and creativity of Turkish women to international markets.

Within the framework of the exhibition, handicrafts, traditional products, and modern design examples by women from various regions of Turkey were displayed. This initiative was evaluated as an important step taken towards strengthening women's economic independence and increasing their role in international trade.

Minister Göktaş's diplomatic protest, as well as her activities in the field of women's economic empowerment, clearly reflect Turkey's active and principled stance on both political and social issues in the international arena.
