Drone attack on Moscow Air defense - The Russian capital, Moscow, has once again become the target of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Several UAVs approaching the city were successfully neutralized by air defense systems.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin issued a statement confirming that a UAV heading towards the city was destroyed. Sobyanin added that there was no serious damage or casualties as a result of the drone's debris.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, three more unmanned aerial vehicles approaching Moscow were successfully neutralized by air defense forces. These incidents were recorded in different districts of the capital.
Due to the attacks, the operation of Zhukovsky Airport near Moscow was temporarily suspended but soon returned to normal. No information regarding flight delays or cancellations has been released.
Recently, the Russian capital and its surrounding areas have regularly faced UAV attacks. Although Russian officials accuse Ukraine of these attacks, the Ukrainian side usually does not comment on these claims.
Thanks to the effective operation of air defense systems, UAVs are neutralized before reaching their targets. However, such attacks once again demonstrate that tensions in the region continue.
