Over 100 UAVs neutralized around Moscow: Situation in the capital escalates
More than a hundred UAVs - Over a hundred UAVs in the Moscow region - In the last 24 hours, the number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) approaching Moscow and its surrounding areas has risen to a dangerous level. According to a statement by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, 111 UAVs heading towards Moscow were destroyed by air defense systems over a period of more than one day. This figure has been recorded as one of the largest UAV attacks in recent times.

According to information released by the Interfax agency, the number of UAVs flying over Moscow approached 40, indicating that the city's airspace faced a serious threat. The Ministry of Defense and local administrative bodies specifically emphasize that air defense systems are operating continuously.
Due to the attacks, certain delays have also been observed in the operations of Moscow airports. In particular, it is reported that flights at Sheremetyevo Airport are being accepted and dispatched based on special agreements. This situation has significantly affected the travel plans of thousands of passengers.
The Vedomosti newspaper, meanwhile, reported that UAV attacks are continuous and that air defense forces destroyed two more drones moving towards Moscow. This fact proves that the capital's airspace is constantly monitored and security measures have been increased.
Experts note that such massive UAV attacks are intended not only for tactical purposes but also to create a psychological impact among the population. Although anxiety among Moscow's population is gradually increasing, official bodies declare that the situation is fully under control.
Russian authorities are investigating the forces behind these attacks and state that appropriate retaliatory measures will be taken. The international community is also closely monitoring the developing situation.
