Krasnodar and Novorossiysk Attacked by UAVs: Situation Worsens in Southern Russia
Krasnodar and Novorossiysk under UAV attack - Early on March 14, new attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were recorded in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, specifically in the cities of Krasnodar and Novorossiysk. This incident is considered a continuation of the recent UAV strikes observed in the region.

According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense (AD) systems were activated to repel these attacks. While it was reported that UAVs were neutralized in the Krasnodar area, additional information regarding the scale of the attack and its potential consequences is still being clarified.
Due to the threat of attack, a free attendance regime has been announced for schools and kindergartens in the city of Anapa. This decision gives parents the freedom to choose whether or not to send their children to educational institutions and is an indicator of the tense situation in the region.
Reports have spread that loud explosions were heard and sirens went off in Novorossiysk. Although concern is felt among the local population, according to initial reports, no official statement has yet been made regarding serious damage or casualties.
Attacks of this type once again emphasize the importance of defending Novorossiysk, one of Russia's main port cities located on the Black Sea coast, and Krasnodar, the administrative center of the region. Security measures are being increased, and the situation is constantly monitored.
