Israel Escalates Attacks on Iranian Oil Depots: Tensions Rise in the Middle East
Israel against Iranian oil depots - The existing tension between Israel and Iran has entered a new phase. According to the "Financial Times," Israeli military forces have expanded their attack operations against Iranian oil depots. This action has further increased the already high tension in the region, causing serious concern in the international community.

During the attacks, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had bombed a number of strategic targets in Iranian territory, including an underground missile production facility and a university belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to "The Times of Israel," Tehran's oil depots were also targeted as part of these operations, which involved more than 80 fighter jets.
In response to Israel's large-scale attacks, Iran also launched missile strikes towards Israel. "Haaretz" newspaper confirmed that the IDF struck several Iranian fuel depots, while Iran carried out missile attacks on Israel. These reciprocal attacks increase the risk of further escalation of the conflict.
The situation in the region remains critical. According to "Al Jazeera" television, oil depots in the Iranian capital Tehran were hit, and a freshwater production plant in Bahrain was also targeted. These events strengthen the possibility of the conflict's geographical scope expanding.
"Fortune" magazine notes that contradictory signals are observed within the Iranian leadership between those who support de-escalation and hardliners inclined towards confrontation. This internal struggle increases the uncertainty of Iran's future steps and weakens peace prospects in the region.
Analysts are seriously concerned that these latest events could lead to a large-scale conflict in the Middle East. International organizations and states are calling on all parties to act with restraint and de-escalate tensions. However, the current situation once again demonstrates how difficult diplomatic solutions are.
