Cardiovascular Diseases in Women: SHOCKING Lack of Awareness About Causes of Death in Spain!

Causes of female deaths in - Causes of Women's Deaths in Spain: Cardiovascular - Recent studies conducted in Spain have revealed a disturbing level of unawareness among women regarding cardiovascular diseases being the leading cause of death. According to the data obtained, three out of four Spaniards are unaware of this crucial fact. This situation clearly demonstrates significant gaps in public awareness regarding women's health.

It is surprising that only 15% of respondents acknowledge that the symptoms of cardiovascular diseases can manifest differently between men and women. These differences can lead to delayed or incorrect diagnoses in women, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of treatment and poses a life-threatening risk.

This "great unknown" aspect of women's health once again highlights the severe lack of information regarding their cardiovascular health. Although heart diseases are typically associated with men, statistical indicators clearly show that these diseases pose an equally, and sometimes greater, threat to women.

Experts state that this lack of awareness can lead women to neglect their own health or to incorrectly assess the initial symptoms of the disease. Consequently, this situation creates a fertile ground for the disease to progress and for more severe complications to arise.

It is of great importance to urgently strengthen public awareness campaigns, increase the knowledge of healthcare professionals in this field, and create the necessary conditions for women to be informed about their heart health. There is a serious need to disseminate this critical information to the wider public with the aim of saving women's lives.

Although certain measures are planned in the European context to prioritize cardiovascular health in women, the level of awareness among broad segments of the population still remains quite low. This situation poses serious challenges in terms of fully ensuring women's health rights.
