According to law enforcement agencies, 61 people have been arrested as a result of operations carried out in various regions of Spain. Among those apprehended are the network's leaders and individuals directly involved in the preparation of fake documents.
This criminal organization was involved in falsifying residency permits, work permits, and other official documents for migrants. These documents were sold to individuals who wished to stay or work illegally in the country.
One of the network's main operational centers was managed by the owner of an illegal hostel located in the "Parque Roma" area of Zaragoza. This individual is known as one of the organization's key leaders.
During police operations, a large number of fake documents, equipment used in their preparation, and a significant amount of cash were seized. These findings further prove the extensive and organized structure of the network.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that fake documents create serious problems in managing migrant flows and pose a threat to the country's national security. The exposure of such networks is considered a significant step in combating illegal migration.
The investigation into the arrested individuals is currently ongoing. They are accused of document forgery, organized crime, and aiding illegal migration. It is noted that other connections related to the case are also being investigated.
