Spanish government presents a package of social reforms: Victims of terrorism and vulnerable groups in the spotlight

Ahead of the elections to be held on November 29, the Spanish government is preparing to implement a new package of social initiatives. Presented by the Cabinet of Ministers, these measures are aimed at strengthening the social protection system and supporting the most vulnerable groups in society.

According to the newly adopted decisions, social guarantees intended for victims of terrorism and survivors of domestic violence are being expanded. In addition, an increase in social benefits paid to widows and citizens who have lost their ability to work is envisaged.

This strategy, characterized by the government as "social Tuesday," also opens up new opportunities for parents of sick children and couples living in common-law marriages. These steps serve to reduce social inequality in the country and improve the well-being of citizens.

Political experts believe that these initiatives are one of the main pillars of the authorities' pre-election strategy. In order to strengthen its position in competition with opposition forces, the government is prioritizing large-scale social reforms.

The adopted decisions are planned to officially enter into force in the near future and the implementation mechanisms are to be applied. With these steps, the Spanish government aims to justify the trust of voters and bridge existing gaps in the social sphere.
