Mass protests in France: Clashes between police and demonstrators
A tense situation has arisen in France during mass protests held against the government's policies. Clashes between demonstrators and police officers have broken out in many cities across the country, most notably in the capital, Paris.

According to the organizers of the protest, the number of protesters who took to the streets reached 800,000. Hundreds of people have been detained due to the unrest.
French President Emmanuel Macron strongly condemned the events. He emphasized that those who violate public order and resort to violence will face the law and be severely punished.
Tensions still persist in city centers, and law enforcement agencies are operating under an enhanced security regime. Disagreements remain between official bodies and protest organizers regarding the future course of the demonstrations.
