Feijóo Condemns Vox's "Obstruction": Strong Support for the PP is the Way to Oust Sánchez
Feijóo Condemns Vox's 'Blockade' Strong - Feijóo Condemns Vox's 'Blockade' of Sánchez - Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the People's Party (PP), Spain's main opposition force, called on voters in the final stages of the election campaign to give his party "decisive support" to prevent the "obstruction" that the Vox party could create. He specifically emphasized that a major victory for the PP would offer a strong alternative to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's government.

Speaking at election events held in the Castilla y León region, Feijóo sharply criticized the Vox party. He stated that "beating one's chest for Spain and obstructing the alternative to Sánchez serves no purpose." This statement expresses concerns that the far-right Vox party could hinder the process of forming a future government.
The PP leader claimed that Vox was misleading voters, stating that "deceiving citizens should not go unpunished." He expressed hope that the Vox party would achieve a weak result in the elections. This aimed to encourage right-leaning voters to cast their ballots for the PP, rather than Vox.
Speaking alongside Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, the regional president of Castilla y León, Feijóo called for a "useful vote." They declared to voters that every vote cast for the PP would be an "incentive" to oust Sánchez's government.
Feijóo specifically noted that his party was the only political force capable of ensuring stability and effective governance in Spain. He emphasized the importance of a strong mandate to overcome the economic and social challenges facing the country.
Throughout the election campaign, Feijóo expressed concern that Vox's radical positions could hinder the PP from appealing to a broader voter base. For this reason, he called on center-right voters to unite around the PP.
These elections are of great importance in determining Spain's future political course. Feijóo and the PP aspire to put an end to the rule of Sánchez's Socialist Party.
