DEM Party launched an investigation against Saliha Aydeniz in connection with Dilan Karaman's death
The DEM Party has initiated an internal investigation against MP Saliha Aydeniz due to mobbing allegations regarding journalist Dilan Karaman, who ended her own life. This decision was made after an incident that caused great public resonance and serious concern.

The tragic death of journalist Dilan Karaman had become the focus of public attention in Turkey. It was reported that she had committed suicide, but that the alleged mobbing by Saliha Aydeniz was behind this decision. These allegations were strongly condemned, especially by women's organizations and feminist movements.
In connection with this incident, feminists and women's rights defenders had put forward four main demands against male violence and mobbing. They demanded a comprehensive investigation into the factors that led to Dilan Karaman's death and the punishment of those responsible in this matter.
Furthermore, a report prepared about Dilan Karaman's death had been withdrawn due to strong public protests. This situation led to a “Dilan Karaman crisis” within the DEM Party and the Kurdish Women's Movement, and brought forth allegations that responsible individuals were being protected.
According to “Independent Türkçe”, serious disagreements had arisen within the party regarding this issue. While some members demanded transparency and justice, others preferred the matter to be resolved within the party's internal framework. This situation had seriously damaged the party's reputation.
The investigation launched by the DEM Party regarding Saliha Aydeniz is considered an important step towards uncovering the truth about Dilan Karaman's death and establishing justice. The public eagerly awaits the results of this investigation.
