The issue of Great Britain's return to the European Union is on the agenda

The necessity of Great Britain's return to the European Union is being discussed

Influential British think tanks are highlighting the importance of Great Britain's reintegration into the European Union (EU) so that the country can more effectively combat current geopolitical crises. According to experts, in the post-Brexit phase, Britain's influence in the international arena has weakened, and it has become difficult to fight global security threats alone.

It is emphasized that London needs deeper cooperation with Europe, especially amid threats emanating from Russia and the uncertainty caused by political processes in the US. Analysts believe that restoring relations with the EU is of strategic importance for strengthening Britain's security system and ensuring its economic stability.

On the other hand, the British government and European Union officials have agreed to hold a special summit on November 20 to revitalize ties. This meeting is expected to be a decisive step to overcome the tension formed after Brexit and establish new cooperation mechanisms between the parties.

The Prime Minister bringing the Brexit issue back onto the political agenda has caused widespread disagreements both domestically and internationally. Although public opinion polls show that approaches to this issue are not unequivocal in British society, a consensus is forming among political elites that rapprochement with Europe is inevitable.
