Europe's giant telecommunication companies are preparing to rival Starlink
Leading European telecom operators such as Telefónica, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, and Vodafone have decided to join forces to boost competition in the global satellite internet market. The companies aim to create their own satellite infrastructure as an alternative to the Starlink network led by Elon Musk.

This strategic initiative intends to strengthen Europe's technological independence and expand high-speed internet coverage across the continent. According to industry experts, this alliance will significantly impact pricing policies and improve service quality in the satellite communications market.
As part of the project, the companies plan to pool their resources to form a low-Earth orbit satellite constellation. This will make it possible to provide internet access not only in major cities but also in remote and rugged terrain areas.
Currently, work is ongoing between the parties to agree on technical and legal issues. European Union officials also support this initiative, specially emphasizing the strategic importance of this step in terms of strengthening digital infrastructure.
