Europe Is Not at War with Iran, But It Will Pay a Heavy Price

Even if Europe doesn't go - Even if Europe doesn't enter a war with Iran - Historically, Europe is not a direct participant in the war waged by the US and Israel against Iran. European armies do not enter Iranian territory, European planes do not strike targets near Tehran. Nevertheless, the tension arising in the region inevitably draws Europe into its sphere of influence.

As the scale of the conflict expands, Europe already feels itself in the impact zone of this crisis. Military operations in the Middle East, even without direct intervention from the continent, create serious economic and social consequences for it.

The tension in the region directly affects the prices of energy carriers, international trade routes, and supply chains. This situation places an additional burden on the already fragile European economy and increases the threat of inflation.

Moreover, the expansion of the conflict could lead to an increase in refugee flows, which will create new social and political challenges for European countries. Instability in the region is also considered a serious threat to Europe's own security interests.

Despite Europe's diplomatic efforts, the military actions of Washington and Tel Aviv confront the continent with a complex situation. European leaders, on the one hand, try to prevent the further deepening of the conflict, and on the other hand, are forced to combat its inevitable consequences.

Consequently, even if Europe maintains a militarily neutral stance, it is forced to bear the economic, social, and political burden of the tension in the Middle East. This situation creates new challenges in the continent's foreign policy and compels it to reconsider its strategic approach.
